a friend. a brother. One of a Kind.

In 2024, we lost one of our team’s original teammates, and an integral part of our Crown family.

Ryder was a quiet friend who often let his party shirt do the talking. He was contemplative and had an appreciation for philosophy. He was quick with a zinger and known for his stunning deadpan delivery. His love for music created diverse playlists, bringing the vibe to any session. This aptitude for deep thought, humor and music was surely a hint at his intelligence and a soul, aged well beyond his years.

Ryder had many hobbies, but riding bikes with his family and team were top of his list. Beyond downhill, Ryder liked to take the trail less traveled, entering into the enduro circuit at a young age. He really found his stride in enduros- never shying from a little sweat and continuously challenging himself.

He offered many reasons to be adored, and we will always have the memories of his brilliance, gentle nature, and hidden talents. At the root of it all, being a damn good person just came naturally.

This scholarship fund has been set up in honor of Ryder Furshong with the support of his father, Jayme and brother, Micheal. Its purpose is to help Crown riders connect with their passion for mountain biking.

Thank you for your support!
